The viewpoints switch from chapter to chapter, following Nick in the present and Amy’s old diary entries. The different voices give clues to what happened to Amy and what was wrong in their marriage.

Your reason to read- It’s number 6 in the New York Times bestselling Archie Sheridan/Gretchen Lowell series. If you (shamefully) haven’t read the 1st five books, do not fret.
