Formula 1’s iconic Monaco Grand Prix races into Shutters on the Beach on Sunday, May 24th! Join us at Coast Beach Café & Bar for a morning of electrifying competition and appetizing celebration. Set on our beachside patio with early morning views over the Pacific, we’ll be streaming every minute of white-knuckle action and serving “curbside” delicacies to match.
Pre-race coverage of the World Championships’ most challenging circuit starts at 4:30am so we recommend setting those alarm clocks early. Around 6am you’ll hear a loud pop and a chorus of cheers echo across Santa Monica Beach. That’s not just the sound of Monaco’s starting gun and the crowd roaring as racers speed off onto the track. It’s also our guests cheering wildly as we pop open our first round of endless Champagne.
Following the inaugural festivities, we’ll keep the party going with a true breakfast of champions: stationary items like croissants, muffins, seasonal fruit, granola, Greek yoghurt, fresh drinks and a full menu of gourmet entrées. Watch the world’s best Formula 1 drivers duke it out for racing supremacy as you maneuver your very own breakfast [race] course. Will it be a left turn to the lemon ricotta pancakes? Straight ahead for the eggs benedict? Right turn for the vanilla waffle? Or maybe a seamless drift around the corner for a trophy-winning Virginia Ham & Aged Swiss Omelet?
