It’s come to our attention that many of you are quite nifty with a camera. Selfies, nature shots, family pics, and panoramas… there’s not much you can’t do with a beautiful Santa Monica backdrop.

To make the most of these photo skills, Shutters on the Beach has decided to make you an offer.
Your end of the deal is fairly straightforward: after heading to the beach and snapping away, simply share your favorite photos on social media and tag us @ShuttersCA or #ShuttersOnTheBeach.

Upon reviewing all tagged pictures, we’ll then be reposting our favorites, you’ll become a Santa Monica photo celebrity, and eventually you’ll be hired as a professional beach photographer. Fine, we can’t guarantee that last part but you still stand a good chance.
