There’s no shortage of terrain for you to stretch your legs and pedals on in Santa Monica. Take one of our new Budnitz bikes for a spin on the 22-mile beach path, stretching from the Pacific Palisades to Torrance County Beach.

Find your inner Zen on Santa Monica’s beautiful shoreline, or in one of the many yoga studios in the area. Hot yoga, Bhakti yoga, Thai yoga massage… you name it, Santa Monica has it.

Work up a sweat at our favorite local spin joints, Soul Cycle or YAS. Both are guaranteed to get your heart pumping!

If circuit training is more your speed, kick it up a notch with nearby Circuit Works or Orange Theory.

Keep it on trend with fitness classes through local hotspots like Cardio Barre and 7 Pilates.

Outdoor Hiking
If you love getting out in nature for a hike, the Santa Monica Mountains have more than 154,000 acres. For an even closer option, try elevating your workout on the Santa Monica Stairs—a challenging workout no matter your fitness level.

Gyms and Fitness Centers
Keep it simple with a day pass for individuals or groups at one our local gyms or fitness centers like Basecamp Fitness.

Beach Activities
If leaving the beach sounds too painful, get active with some beach volleyball located both north and south of the pier. We also recommend giving surfing a try with lessons through Learn to Surf LA.
