Returning for a 31st consecutive year, LA’s favorite summer tradition kicks off July 9th on the Santa Monica Pier and runs every Thursday night through September 14th. The lineup appeals to every musical palate, offering performances by the likes of “The Time” lead singer Morris Day, indie rockers “Real Estate,” Latin performers ¡Cubanismo!, singer-songwriter JD McPherson, and many more. Combined with the panoramic backdrop of Santa Monica Beach—think colorful sunsets over the pier—it’s a spectacle you don’t want to miss.
Before you settle in on your favorite beach blanket, however, you might just be in the mood for some pre-show libations.
